Acts of Kindness

As a school principal, I was in my office one more and a colleague came in frustrated about a situation with a child. I listened intently and then encouraged her to consider a number of things all of which helped to put the relationship that educators have with parents and children in perspective.

The perceptions we sometimes embrace are a reflection of "our" world that don't take into consideration the power of looking beyond the superficial. Deep down inside all things is the pure essence of love and positive energy that is the true reality.

I saw a boy carring a Baseball Tee and bumped into sydney, hitting her in the stomich, I stopped to make sure sydney was OK. Connery saw how concern I was for Sydney and he told me about the bracelet and gave it to me.

I helped my classmate finish a report in class today.

I was given the kindness bracelet because I asked my fourth graders to allow the four younger grades to enter into the assembly first, even though we were first in line. Ms. D gave me the bracelet for letting the others go inside while we waited on a cold Monday morning. I appreciate her choosing me and the class as the first teacher recipient of the bracelet!

I was a helper to my friends at clean up time. I always treat my friends nicely.

I was given a 'random act of kindness' from someone in my class for helping stack someone's chair.

i played agenst kara in c.a.r.d they beet us so they gave the team my rist band! i love kara she is so sweet!

I returned a cart for a mom in the parking lot when her hands were full

Hayley, Age 5 got this bracelet from her teacher Miss Nancy for being a good friend in class. She helped her friends by cleaning up all of the books left out on the circle time rug. We look forward to passing it on!
